Everywhere you go on the internet you see and hear the stories about the struggling home based business person that suddenly makes it big because they found that one true thing that made them rich. And now they want to share their success with you for some ridiculously low price. You and I have both experienced this nonsense. Am I right?
Well, Lianne really was struggling with her network marketing business. Lucky for her that she found the right person to help her with the problem of growing her business. Everyone Lianne talked to got her spiel, whether they liked it or not, about her home based business and how she wanted them to come to a meeting at her house, yada yada yada. You know the drill I am sure.
The thing that makes this story so amazing is that the person that helped Lianne with growing her business was not even in network marketing. The fact is, to this very day, the source of her insight doesn’t even know that he helped her to become successful. Here is how it all began for her on that perfect Spring morning in Up State New York.
As Lianne sat in the waiting room of a prominent neurologist, she was consumed with anxiety and a headache. At first she hardly noticed the other twenty or so other patients in the office. She was too busy being focused on her own problems to see the solution to her home based business problem. She could not see the solution that was right in front of her.
It wasn’t until Lianne was coming out of the office after seeing the doctor that it hit her like the pleasant memory of a long lost friend. All the patients in her doctor’s office were there, not be accident, but on purpose. These patients were not there because they had a skin problem, or a flu problem, or a blood problem or a broken bone. They all shared the same need for the specialty the neurologist offered.
“That’s it. That’s the answer to the problem of growing my home based business”, Lianne thought to herself.
There is no question that Lianne needed only one type of person to become a member of her network marketing team. And that type of person must be goal oriented, self-motivated, driven to succeed and socially well connected. If they didn’t have all four of those qualities, what was she doing even talking to them?
Wasting her time with people who didn’t have those four qualities was like the neurologist having patients in his waiting room that really needed a skin specialist or some other type of doctor. Don’t you agree that this doesn’t make any sense?
