Network Marketing Tips – What The Leaders Are Doing That You’re Not
As a trained therapist, I was taught that there are two words that you need to eliminate from your vocabulary. Those words are “try” and “should.” Why these two?
First of all, “should” implies a sense of guilt. “I should have returned that call sooner,” or “I should start working out.” If you word it that way, you probably won’t.
“Try,” on the other hand, gives you permission to fail. Master Yoda says, “Do or do not… there is no try.” I couldn’t agree more.
There are lots of people who try to succeed in network marketing. Unfortunately, most never advance from trying to doing.
Yes, there are a thousand reasons why they can’t work their business in the evenings, and when they give you those reasons, they do sound convincing. That’s because they’ve convinced themselves that their reasons are valid.
Starting a network marketing business is easy. In fact, anybody with a hundred bucks can get started. How do you finish, though? What do some people have that others can quite seem to get a handle on?
The word is vision. They have a vision of a better world for themselves, their family, maybe even the planet. Their dreams outweigh their fears. Their laser focus and drive propels them to do what needs to be done to succeed.
Do they face obstacles? You bet. Do they make mistakes? Just like we all do. It’s their vision, however, that gives them reason to continue, even when their friends and family might be laughing at them.
Nike summed it up perfectly – “Just Do It!”
